Flame Engineering Goes to República Dominicana
Agro Construction Solutions has an office in Santo Domingo, DR, and these are their clients. Agro, a dealer of ours is based out of Miami, FL but focuses on Mexico, Central America, Caribbean, South America, and the Dominican Republic.
Their clients, Pollo Cibao, based in Republica Dominicana, purchased 3 of the PL8750’s Poultry House Sanitizers in January 2026. Luis Zaldana, with Agro Construction, and I made the trip to do an instructional training session for them. The Sanitizers traveled by truck to Miami, FL, then were put in a container on a ship the rest of the way to the port of Santo Domingo.
It was a successful trip for us! We spent an entire day with them doing safety training along with a live run-through of the chicken house with each machine. The clients were more than impressed, knowing this was going to save them time and money. They were currently using handheld torches to sanitize their houses which was time-consuming. Now with the flame sanitizer, they can flame one house in an hours’ time, penetrating the existing litter up to 3”.
They did not really have an issue of any present diseases; they wanted to prevent and accelerate the cleaning process to put new birds in. They loved the process and in return purchased another 3 sanitizers that are waiting to set sail soon.
The images outside were a process of the training session. Teaching them how to hookup the cab control box, fill propane and doing a leak check on all the fittings. Then we moved into the house where they were able to run the sanitizer. It was a worthwhile trip and great crew to work with. We can't wait to hear more about how our equipment can save them time and money in their operation!
